Sounders Women face road test and come away with point at TSS Rovers

The Sounders Women went to Vancouver, British Columbia on Sunday June 17th to Swanguard Stadium to face the upstart TSS Rovers.  A hot, sunny day would see a battle between teams facing each other for the first time.

The game started in true Sounders Women fashion with the away team peppering the TSS Rovers goal and finding pay dirt early with Holly Fritz smashing the onion bag to the make the game 1-0.   TSS Rovers would battle back in the second half and tie the game up 1-1.   With many chances for both teams, the game would end in a tie and take the first available points from the Sounders Women in the 2018 season.

At 3-0-1, the Sounders Women sit atop the WPSL Western Conference standings with TSS Rovers and ISC Gunners close behind.  The season looks to go the distance with pivotal games coming up.   The Sounders Women play again at ISC Gunners on June 27th.
